Meet Dr. Lin.
Born in Crown Point, Indiana, and at home in the Chicago area for most of his life, Dr. Hilehito Gene Lin cares for the whole family.
His emphasis is on “making sure you are comfortable before the beginning of even the simplest of procedures.” Away from the office, he stays active with his wife, son and daughter.

Fastbraces uses triangular brackets instead of square ones. The practice explains that the distance between brackets is almost doubled, giving the super-elastic wire more flexibility.
Their explanation describes roots straightening upright “in a year to as little as three months,” with some patients seeing results within the first few weeks. Ask Dr. Lin about your own treatment.

Why do I still get cavities when I brush and floss regularly, and a friend of mine doesn’t do anything and doesn’t get cavities?
Genetics can make some people more prone to cavities. Diet, especially sugar, also plays a part. Keep twice-yearly examinations and cleanings, and ask about dental sealants and fluoride varnish.

Baby teeth hold space for adult teeth as well as helping children chew. Fixing decay helps keep a baby tooth in place until it is ready to come out on its own.

It may remove some surface stains, but it will not change the shade of the teeth themselves. The practice offers professional whitening and custom trays for home care.
